Island Of The Doomed

Mitchell is a deranged botanist who cultivates a man-eating, blood-sucking tree which systematically kills off a group of tourists. The suspicious Martin puts down his camera and begins to do some snooping, finding Mitchell's servant dumping one of the bodies. He tries to destroy the killer tree, battling the angry scientist in the process. The finale of this English-dubbed film has Mitchell devoured by his own creation. Director Welles appeared in Roger Corman's similar THE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS.
