A sensuous, steamy story of nurse Darnell and Marine Hunter marooned on an island together for a year after their ship is torpedoed during WW II. The two begin as friendly enemies, bickering with each other, but they eventually fall in love. An RAF pilot, Gray, crashlands on the island and is seriously injured.
