An infantry squad is trapped in a bombed-out house while outside one of their buddies is pinned in a hole by a machine gun. The men talk of rescuing him, but one attempt after another fails until Colleano, who up to this time has been thinking about women, goes out and gets the job done. An above average war drama with good performances. leave a comment
