The Invisible Avenger

Derr is superdetective "The Shadow," who can make himself invisible in this suspense picture based on the exploits of the famed radio character. While looking into the murder of a New Orleans jazzman, Derr finds the mystery takes a few unusual twists, leading him all the way to an exiled Latin American dictator. In 1962 the film was re-released as BOURBON ST. SHADOWS with additional footage tacked on, under the direction of Parker. The film's original director Howe was a noted cinematographer in the 1940s and 1950s.
