Intimate Power

A dazzling and energetic twist on the gangster film, INTIMATE POWER keeps its audience tense throughout the film and offers nearly nonstop splashes of color and bursts of sound. The film begins simply enough with a planned robbery of an armored car by Godin and his amateur gang, which includes his son (Brisebois), an ex-con (Curzi), and the ex-con's girlfriend (Tifo). When a monkey wrench is thrown into the carefully laid plan, the son panics and start firing at the guards, one of whom (unbeknownst to the criminals) has taken refuge in the back of the armored car.
