Insurance Investigator

Denning investigates the death of a real estate operator before his firm pays out a whopping double indemnity claim. The death appears to be an accident, but Denning is convinced it's murder. Long, the victim's daughter, gets Denning a job in the real estate firm as a front for the investigation. He soon finds out that the dead man's partner, Eldredge, owed Hadley huge gambling debts. This leads to the discovery of Hadley's "accidental" death racket to cash in on insurance policies. Denning is captured by the gang but the police save him in a climactic ending.
