An Inspector Calls

Sim is a police inspector who has gathered the family of a dead girl (Wenham). Through flashback the story of the events leading to her death is told. Young, Wenham's father, fires his daughter from his factory for causing trouble. It seems she has led a group of workers in asking for a raise. Wenham gets a job in a local shop and her sister's fiance helps Wenham get an apartment on her own. But when Wenham flounders financially, she has to take charity after her mother (Lindo) refuses to help. Forbes plays a brother who turns to crime after he impregnates his sister. Sim's summation concludes that each person is in some way responsible for Wenham's suicide. Though...
