Crowe won for Gladiator. And just for the record, Zellweger's three-in-a-row nominations were for Bridget Jones's Diary (2001), Chicago (2002) and Cold Mountain (2003); the third time was the lucky one for her.

It looks like things might get a bit nasty in David Hasselhoff’s divorce from Pamela Bach, his wife of 16 years. In documents obtained by The Insider, the Baywatch alum's lawyer is looking to snuff Bach's bid to obtain some of her husband's medical records. (Although there are no details about the sought-after files, Hasselhoff has entered rehab for alcohol abuse on at least two occasions.) Kathie Lee Gifford, who debuts as a correspondent on The Insider today, is said to be shopping around a new daytime talk show that would pair her with Donny Osmond. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gifford is hoping to launch the show in fall 2006, presumably to coincide with son Cody's 45th birthday.
