Inside Out

The film has a potentially absorbing premise, and Gould gives a sensitive performance, but INSIDE OUT is an unsatisfying feature that suffers from underdeveloped ideas and uninteresting direction. Gould is a seemingly successful New York businessman with a few eccentricities. He carries the remote controls for his television, stereo, VCR, and telephone-answering machine in a bathrobe pocket, conducts all his business over the telephone, and has an escort service send him a companion for an evening's entertainment.
