This well-intentioned film is unfortunately marred by simplistic psychology and inept execution. Nicolas Vogel is a 16-year-old German who comes from an unhappy home and, after meeting another youth his age, finds an escape as a member of the neo-Nazi Unity Party. Along with his neo-Nazi friends, Vogel attends Nazi rallies and witnesses brutal violence.
