This routine cavalry picture has Montgomery playing a captain trying to keep the peace between famed Indian Geronimo and the local white settlers. The Indian reservation contains rich gold deposits and bad guys Kennedy and Sanders want them. Between their misdeeds and bungling in
Washington, DC, the Indians get hostile and declare war. They attack the cavalry but Montgomery, who had been placed under house arrest for an infraction of Army regulations, is freed and saves the day. The usual action and hard riding make this one enjoyable for western film buffs.
