Indian Territory

Better than usual Autry picture finds him as an undercover man in the Union Army, after switching loyalties from the Confederate cavalry. He is sent to make peace between a group of Indians and white settlers. With the help of Buttram and Grant he exposes Van Zandt, an ex-Austrian officer, along with Collins, as the bad guys behind the Indian uprisings. Along the way Autry sings a couple of numbers including "Chattanooga Shoe Shine Boy." Typical production values, with some action footage taken from the 1940 film ARIZONA.
