Brad Bird's richly imagined, retro-moderne homage to the superhero-fueled daydreams of his youth creates a vibrantly original mythology that taps into the lore of Marvel's much-loved Fantastic Four, James Bond, Thunderbirds and other '60s pop-culture touchstones. "Bob" and "Helen Parr" (voices of Craig T. Nelson and Holly Hunter), aka Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, are a pair of married superheros who, 15 years after public opinion has forced them to live incognito, bust out of the federal relocation program with their two superpowered kids (Sarah Vowell, Spencer Dash) to fight once again for truth, justice and the American way.
