Above average Monogram thriller that undoubtedly was one of the reasons Goddard dedicated his classic film BREATHLESS (1959) to this B-picture studio. Douglas, mistaken for another man, is savagely beaten. He sets out to find out why and discovers he's an exact double for a notorious gangster. He stumbles onto both murder and love while exposing a gang of thieves. There's plenty of action along the way, with Monogram's patented gunfights and brawling.
