Incident In An Alley

Based on a story by Rod Serling, this intriguing crime melodrama begins when police officer Warfield is called to investigate a music store robbery. As he passes an alley he hears a woman scream and sees a figure running away. After shouting a warning he raises his gun and fires, killing a 14-year-old boy. Later it appears that the kid had merely bumped into the woman and knocked her down. Warfield is brought to trial and acquitted but is still a pariah among his fellow officers.
