Neo-noir hijinks. Legal eagle Rick Alvarez (Daniel Baldwin) is adept at clearing scummy clients, but gets himself into some very hot water. He's been having a steamy and extremely misguided affair with Catherine (Claudia Schiffer), the curvaceous wife of corrupt mogul Charles Wells (Dean Stockwell), and when Wells's car explodes near the Mexican border, Alvarez's adversary, Detective Sutton (Kim Rhodes), takes note of evidence linking Alvarez to the explosion.
