As intense as a touring production of "Beatlemania," this made-for-TV movie about Beatle John Lennon's early years benefits from decent facsimile performances by its Fab Four impersonators. Encouraged by his free-spirited mother, Julia (Christine Kavanagh), young John Lennon (Anthony Borrows) moves in with his Aunt Mimi (Blair Brown), who insists on giving him a conventional upbringing.
