A good cast is not used properly in this cliched story about Milland, a charming peer of the realm in Victorian England, who falls hard for Wright, a music hall dancer. Milland's stuffy brother, Hardwicke, tells Wright that if she continues this fling with Milland it just might ruin his standing in the community.
