The delicate subject (for 1962) of homosexuality is treated well in in this screen version of Philip King's play "Serious Charge." Quayle, a young, good-looking vicar, arrives in a small town full of juvenile delinquents and gossips. A malicious young punk, wanting to ruin the vicar, claims to be the victim of a homosexual attack by Quayle.
