A weak British drama about a woman whose fortune is wasted by her husband, whom she promptly sends packing. With her nest egg gone, she opens a nightclub with a friend. Allowing illegal gambling and liquor sales, she amasses a hefty sum of money, enabling her two daughters to go to
school. Eventually, one of the girls kills the father. Wanting to forget her past and start anew, mom burns the nightclub down and quietly walks away. Not worth discussing.
