With horrendously cute dialogue and situations that seem to occur only to attractive (or naked) people in independent films, this movie is not the most satisfying entertainment. Writer-director Adrienne Shelly (who also acts in the film), creates a strong visual narrative but is less than sophisticated in her dialogue or handling of actors. Bill (Reg Rogers) sinks into a deep depression after his wife Rose (Lara Harris) leaves him for his best friend (John Pyper-Ferguson).
