I'll Get By

After getting fired from his job, music publisher Lundigan teams up with Dailey and the two become involved with sisters Haver and DeHaven. The girls, who earn their keep by singing with the Harry James Band, do their best to get Lundigan and Dailey's tunes plugged. The amorous twosomes get split up after a romantic misunderstanding, but soon team up again in a South Pacific USO show. The plot is enveloped to the point of obscurity by a constant barrage of tunes and an Oscar-nominated score.
