Young engineer, Murphy, and his ex-actress wife, Carroll, find their marriage on shaky ground soon after the honeymoon ends. When Carroll discovers she is pregnant, she keeps the news from her husband. Meanwhile, Murphy spends his time stealing cash and spending it senselessly. He is arrested and sent to prison, but he manages to keep it a secret from Carroll by telling her he is in Russia on business. Predictably, the two are reunited when Murphy is parolled and sees his infant son for the first time. leave a comment
