This effort has Holt running a town and getting whatever he wants--legally or not. When his kid brother is refused a spot on his school's ball team, Holt tries to fix things with Barrie, the hard-edged principal. When she won't bend to his pressures, Holt fires her, causing the rest of the teachers to revolt. A newspaper story has him in hot water over a corrupt real estate deal, but he is saved before meeting the judge. The once moralistic Barrie, now seeing things through love-colored glasses, lies in his favor and the accusations are dismissed. leave a comment
