A useless piece of egotistical drivel that is the product of the all-around untalented Brooks, who had a freak hit with YOU LIGHT UP MY LIFE. This time Brooks has cast himself as a composer who sets out to find his old girlfriend, Hack. Through flashbacks we see Brooks and Hack as
youngsters, utterly devoted to one another. Their reunion is so predictable that it is hardly worth sitting through. Author Breslin is oddly effective as a Madison Avenue executive.
