Shannon is cast as a crusading judge who wants to rid his town of gambling and drinking. When saloon owner and gang leader Munson hears of the judge's plans, she tries to blackmail him by revealing his past as an ex-con. Shannon refuses to back off, so Munson's gang robs a bank and frames
the judge. Rogers and Burnette come along, as usual, clearing the judge's name and making the town fit for youngsters to grow up in. Songs included "Lone Buckaroo," "Holy, Holy, Holy," "Idaho." Film marked Republic's first strong effort to launch Rogers into the firmament left vacant when its
shining star, Gene Autry, went into the US Army Air Corps.
