Fire And Ice

Although there's a sliver of plot, FIRE AND ICE is largely comprised of action-packed ski footage, staged in numerous and often imaginative ways. John (John Eaves) is a French-Canadian skier who is determined to catch up with Suzy (Suzy Chaffee), a fellow skier whom he meets by accident and falls in love with immediately. FIRE AND ICE comes off like a second unit director's fantasy film, completely forgoing story for filler material. Canadian Eaves is skiing's freestyle world champion, while Suzy Chaffee was a member of the US Olympic ski team. Unfortunately, their collective acting ability doesn't exactly set the screen on fire.
