ICE STORM, THE

Director Ang Lee's cool adaptation of Rick Moody's novel is really a perceptive soap opera disguised as an art film. Two dysfunctional Connecticut families undergo a spiritual crisis over the course of one Thanksgiving holiday in the early '70s.
