Johnson is a figure skater with a bright Olympic future who is blinded in a freak accident. With the help of Benson, her hockey-playing, excessively sensitive boyfriend, she wages a brave battle to make it back to the top. Dewhurst is superb as the owner of a local skating rink who tries not to live out her failed dreams through Johnson, and Butler's cinematography is stunning.
