I Stole A Million

Raft is a tough cab driver who has his life savings stolen by a phony finance company. Getting no cooperation from the police, he turns to crime and becomes a wanted man. He flees to California and meets Trevor, who drops her lawyer boy friend, Foran, to marry Raft. She helps him get set up as a legitimate garage owner and, after she becomes pregnant, talks Raft into clearing his name with the police. He goes along with this but first goes out on a robbing spree so his wife and baby will be provided for while he's in prison.
