Based on the real-life murder case in which Toronto realtor Peter Demeter was accused of killing his wife in 1975, this picture hypothesizes about a number of methods that could have effected the crime. It concentrates, however, on the most accepted theory--that the husband hired an outsider to do the deed, a view that led to a conviction.
