Boone is the newly appointed chairman of the local cemetery. The cemetery has a map marking plots: black pins indicate that someone is buried in a plot, white ones indicate a plot that is sold but unoccupied. Boone mistakenly mixes up some of the pins. This causes the owners of those plots
to die, and Boone begins to wonder if he has some evil power. The absence of plot complications in the film is filled by engaging photographic tricks and artwork.
