Bergerac is a hypnotist whose female subjects mutilate themselves after being hypnotized. One washes her face with acid, another takes a scalding shower, and a third ignites her hair with a lit burner. Behind the mutilations is Bergerac's assistant and wife, Hayes (the giant in THE ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT WOMAN), who, disfigured herself, takes out her anger on the innocent women.
