An engaging comedy told in flashback about a man, Williams, who dies and leaves three letters in his will. Addressed to the husbands of the women he had affairs with, the letters inspire some amusing reactions out of the three. Vera Caspary, who cowrote the script for THREE HUSBANDS,
also adapted a similar story for the reverse of this film called LETTER TO THREE WIVES (1949).
