Hurricane Streets

Mom's in jail, dad's dead, granny's a barkeep and 14 going on 15-year-old Marcus (Brendan Sexton III) is heading for trouble. So far it's just little stuff: He and his Lower East Side buddies pilfer sneakers, candy and CDs to sell to younger kids, smoke some cigarettes, drink a little beer and sit around their clubhouse studying dirty magazines. But there's macho talk about stealing cars and breaking into apartments, dope is creeping into their lives and the high-spirited roughhousing is taking on an ugly edge.
