A fanciful account of Ponce de Leon's search for the Fountain of Youth. The central character is Hall, a Spanish captain accompanying Ponce de Leon (Barrier) on his New World explorations. Along with the explorers is a female pirate, Windsor, who hopes to grab the gold they believe will be
found at the Fountain. When Barrier is injured during a landing in Florida, the group goes out in search of the Fountain that will restore him. Their trail leads them to Indian leader Gilbert, who is also the guardian of the magical spring. She heals Barrier, but dies when the Fountain dries up.
