Set in Rome in 1944, this interesting version of the "Hunchback" legend features Blain as the title character. A leading figure in the Resistance movement, Blain rapes Ferrero, the daughter of a Nazi collaborator, then later falls in love with her. The Hunchback is wounded by Nazi troops when he tries to steal some weapons from an arsenal and holes up in Ferrero's house. Well, you certainly can't say nothing happened this week, huh? Caesar, in Egypt, has to deal with boy-king Ptolemy, Cleopatra's brother.
