Monsters from the ocean floor surface in a seaside community, kill the men, rape the women, and generally wreak havoc. Enter scientist Susan Drake (Ann Turkel), who, aided by Jim (Doug McClure), a fisherman, sets out to learn where these creatures come from and why they are acting so abominably.
