The second of four versions of
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, this is the best to date. The story is the same, but director Richard Thorpe, producer Joseph L. Mankiewicz, and screenwriter Hugo Butler managed to put more fun into this remake than all the others combined.
