Alexander is chosen "playboy of the year" by an international men's magazine after a malfunctioning computer spits out his name. In order to avoid embarrassment, the publishers decide to take the ball and run with it, making Alexander into the playboy that he's not. They parade him all
across Europe, arranging photo sessions with the world's most gorgeous women. Lualdi, an investigative reporter, uncovers the computer error and is about to go public with the news when Alexander becomes the subject of a famous actress' desires. Thinking he really is a playboy, she drops her
story. An idea which could be funny but instead is about as exciting as watching paint dry.
