A funny satire of British aristocracy and their refusal to enter into honest labor even when poverty-stricken. Nobleman Patrick is destitute and plans to kill his rich uncle from Canada, Coburn, to get his inheritance. His murder attempts backfire; his English family is accidentally picked
off one by one as each meets the violent death meant for Coburn. Absent-minded Patrick is finally killed by his own trap when he walks into Coburn's room, which he has rigged up with a shotgun. Coburn is arrested by the police for the murder of Patrick but is saved when Patrick's elderly aunt,
Johnson, steps forward and clears him. Star Patrick also codirected this film.
