Offbeat but absorbing. Set in the 1950s, this is the first American film from Scottish director Bill Forsyth. After the suicide of their mother and the death of their grandmother, two adolescent sisters (Sara Walker and Andrea Burchill) are left in the care of their itinerant aunt (Christine Lahti) who has spent most of her life riding rails and sleeping on park benches.
