1960, Movie, NR, 83 mins

When Minardos witnesses a murder, the hapless Greek engineer is taken into protective custody by the cops. Unfortunately for him, the law is in cahoots with the killers. When he finds this out, Minardos goes on the lam and so does the film, twisting and turning the plot into total confusion bordering on unintentional self-parody. The actors, some of whom would later be big on TV sitcoms (Eden, Knight, MacLeod), do what they can but eventually are overwhelmed by the shoddy script and frenetic direction. To the film's credit it looks good and the score isn't bad at all. leave a comment
