Okay comedy starring Gleason as a racing enthusiast who handicaps the ponies for his own amusement. Unfortunately, all his friends take his advice and lose big bucks, including his future son-in-law who blows the nuptial nest egg. Gleason's wife Pitts, who loathes gambling, flies into a fury when she hears the news, and Gleason must desperately pull together all his handicapping skills to win back the dough, so the kid can marry his daughter.
