Nielsen stars as a down-on-his-luck reporter who hopes to get a massive crime scoop by getting an exclusive interview with Flippen, the leader of a notorious gang of bank robbers. Obtaining the story becomes an obsession with Nielsen, and his persistence makes Miller, his newlywed bride, a nervous wreck. Foolishly, the reporter gets too close to the murderous gang and winds up getting kidnaped and held hostage.
