Nielsen stars as a down-on-his-luck reporter who hopes to get a massive crime scoop by getting an exclusive interview with Flippen, the leader of a notorious gang of bank robbers. Obtaining the story becomes an obsession with Nielsen, and his persistence makes Miller, his newlywed bride, a
nervous wreck. Foolishly, the reporter gets too close to the murderous gang and winds up getting kidnaped and held hostage. Miller leads the rescue party and Flippen winds up dead, giving Nielson the big scoop he was looking for.
