Hot Pursuit

Dan Bartlett (John Cusack), a prep school student, is an overachiever who studies so hard that he fights a losing battle with exhaustion and flunks a chemistry test. As a result he must take a makeup test during Easter vacation--a time he is supposed to spend sailing with his cheerleader girl friend, Lori (Wendy Gazelle), and her family. His teacher has a change of heart and excuses him from the exam. Dan hurries to the airport, but the plane has just taken off. Determined to catch Lori, Dan boards the next plane to the Caribbean.
