Hot Child In The City

Rachel Wagner (Leah Ayres Hendrix) comes to Los Angeles to visit her successful record executive sister Abby (Shari Shattuck). She's not in her sister's house for more than a couple minutes, however, when she overhears a threatening message on the answering machine from a former lover who demands that a pricey bracelet be returned to him. There's nothing even remotely original about HOT CHILD IN THE CITY. It contains all the usual ingredients--a rock'n'roll soundtrack, numerous trendy nightclubs scenes, unspectacular travelog shots of Hollywood Boulevard at night, and girls traipsing around in lingerie.
