Shot in the Philippines but set in Latin America, this Jonathan Demme-penned and -produced film depicts the radicalization of four American nurses working for the Peace Corps (Cagan, Markov, Richardson, and Rose). After being kidnaped, the nurses refuse to provide medical assistance for a band of guerrillas led by Argenziano.
