Col. Tim Shaw (Kevin McCarthy) is a retired American officer living in Africa. His grandson Tommy (Gerhard Hametner) suddenly needs a kidney transplant in New York, so he and his mother (Nancy Locke) are put on the next DC-3 out, which also happens to carry several terrorists.
