Silly attempt at satire has Medwin as a reporter who tries to make a story out of the "oracle" he discovers at the bottom of a well while vacationing. His editor thinks it's just whimsy and fires him; then the oracle is discovered to be the real thing. People start to ask too much from the gifted being, however, and it leaves. But not before the audience. leave a comment
